Catherine McVey (far right, wearing hat and spectacles). On her right, her daughter, Etta Delworth (née McVey).

An outing to Bertram Mills Circus held beside the rugby ground at Murrayfield. The group are all employees of the North British Rubber Company at Fountainbridge.

Catherine was the grandmother, and Etta the aunt, of Jim Dignall.
