About this memory
Ernest, Evelyn, and baby Alex, Muir.
“A day that could not be forgotten. Husband seriously ill and waiting for doctor to attend house, could not let children down so substitute, Grandma, was sent for. They set off before the ambulance’s arrival, which I had to be in too. It was the beginning of a long line of operations for husband and long convalescence at Beechmount Hospital.” – Evelyn Muir (née Mobbs)
