About this memory
Salisbury Crags offers wonderful views over parts of the city. This shows the Scottish Parliament building and landscaping and the Palace of Holyrood at the foot of the Royal Mile. Some of the Calton Hill monuments, in particular Nelson’s Column and the National monument are clearly visible, with closer inspection revealing Dugald Stewart and the Burns monument. Leading eastwards from the hill are the elegant houses on Regents Terrace. in the distance is the Firth of Forth and Fife
