I was offered a place a Broughton Senior Secondary School studying language and science. It was a complete new chapter in my life, leaving the security of a village school , housing approximately 120 pupils to somewhat close to 1000 at Broughton.It was daunting leaving the comfort of friends and teachers and having to travel 20-30 minutes by bus from the West End , only knowing one other girl there.I had to grow up quickly.
