About this memory
Leith Hawthorn was a strong amateur team. They won six trophies during 1945-46. Alister Laing’s brother John was in the team (front row – second right). He playedas a junior for Newtongrange Star and for Fauldhouse United. He also played two or three seasons at Berwick Rangers.
