Valentine Skea.

Valentine Skea was born in Leith in 1860 and worked as a baker at Crawford’s bakery. He had five daughters and one son. In his younger days he would walk every day to his work from Leith to Prestonpans.

His grandson James McMurdo would also work for Crawford’s bakery.
