About this memory

Jack Anderson

“Jack was [my daughter] Catriona’s paternal grandfather who died five years before she was born. He worked as a chief steward in the merchant navy (Ben Line company). He died on board his ship on one of the trips to the Far East and was buried at sea off the coast of Penang, Malaya. It was to have been his last voyage before he retired.” – Patricia Anderson (née Hendry)
