“There were twelve babies from a few months to one-and-a-half years, then on to the toddler room where there were about twenty-four children, then on to the big class, which had children up to the age of three to five.

“The nursery was open from 8am – 6pm and all meals were served and even the oldest children had a nap in the afternoons.” – Christine Bell [2008]
