1959 – He is with a friend who stayed in No 6 Hawthorn Buildings.This is a great photo of the Dean Village which was taken from the High Green. Hawthorn Bank is shown there with the Dean School shown on the left. The Stone Bridge centre with Mr & Mrs Zyw’s House to the right. The Holy Trinity Church is perched high up in the centre skyline (beside Thomas Telford’s Bridge which is not visible).
