Front two rows are Scottish Command staff. The second back row is ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service) staff. The back row is civilians.

Scottish Command held offices on an upper floor of the Scotsman Newspaper building at North Bridge.

As of 1999 the building houses the Scotsman Hotel.
