James William Vandepeear.
James William Vandepeear was born 12th April 1872, the son of James Vandepeear and Catherine Turner, in Cupar.
“James was a compositor at Ballantyne’s [Edinburgh printers and publishers]. [He] moved to Hull to find work about 1904. [He] died at Hull in 1908, from tuberculosis.
“[The] photo was taken about the date of his marriage to Helen Galbraith [see 0163-003] in October 1895.” – James Vandepeear [2008]
