About this memory

Eva Anderson.

“…Eva Anderson was a ‘livewire’ as a teenager. She smoked cigarettes out of the toilet window and used to hide her dancing shoes – special shoes were used for dancehalls to protect the smooth polished floor – in the bin because her parents disapproved of public dance halls.” – Patricia Anderson (née Hendry)

Photography – Sam Brown Studio, Dundee
