Performed by actors from the Edinburgh District of the Scottish Community Drama Association, this was the association’s Golden Jubilee Production. The character brandishing the blunderbuss in the centre of the image is Sir Davie Peebles, Provost o’ Dubbity played by George Steele. ‘The Warld’s Wonder’ was described as: ‘A Scottish Fantasy in Prose and Poetry’ and was penned by Alexander Reid. Tickets cost 70p.
