The character brandishing the blunderbuss in the centre of the image is Sir Davie Peebles, Provost o’ Dubbity played by George Steele. ‘The Warld’s Wonder’ was described as: ‘A Scottish Fantasy in Prose and Poetry’ and was penned by Alexander Reid. Tickets cost 70p.
