Evelyn Whitfield (née Sime) with neighbour Norman White in Evelyn’s garden.
“We dressed as the Bisto Kids for a fancy dress competition. I had to remind Norman to sniff and say ‘Ah! Bisto!’. When the judges came round we won second prize. The first prize was won by a family of three children who were dressed as doctor, nurse and patient.” – Evelyn Whitfield
